Bath Time

Tonight we had our first relatively happy bath time with Ellie. Not that the other baths weren't happy for us, but Ellie did not seem to care for them judging by her little whimpers and cries. This time she was very awake and alert and didn't seem to mind as much getting wet and soapy. The only part she hates is when we have to pick her up and wash off her adorable little bottom but other than that she really didn't seem to mind it. We still have to stick to sponge baths because even though her umbilical cord stump finally came off it is still healing. So we are looking forward to when we have our first "real" bath in "Monstro" which is the adorable whale bath tub that my mom bought for Ellie. We love making bath time a family ritual and can't wait for many more to come.
